State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, has said, “We have worked side by side with the people in all past disasters. We have provided humanitarian assistance on behalf of the Honorable Prime Minister lSheikh Hasina. I have been repeatedly elected with the love of the people.”
He said these while speaking at a public meeting in Natore on Saturday, where he distributed relief to 1,000 flood-affected families on behalf of China Railway International Group in Gainpara, Parsingra and Palli Shree areas of Singra municipal area. Sesame, milk, sugar, biscuits, baby food, rice and pulses are distributed as relief.
On his behalf, he distributed baby food to 500 children and food items including rice and pulses to 500 flood-affected families. Hon'ble Prime Minister has provided assistance to the unemployed and destitute families.
The soldiers of Bangabandhu's ideology were always beside the people amid terrible floods and corona crisis. He added that several mahallas in the municipal area are affected by floods every year. Hon'ble Prime Minister has passed the Singra Shahar Raksha Dam construction project at a cost of Taka 43 crore considering the plight of the citizens.
Also present on the occasion were Upazila Awami League President Advocate Ohidur Rahman Sheikh, Awami League leader Bishwanath Das Kashinath, Municipal Awami League General Secretary, Singra Municipality Mayor Alhaj Jannatul Ferdous and China Railway International Group Key Account Manager Abu Kawsar.
