A human chain and silent protests have been held in Munshiganj in protest against child rape, torture and murder. The program was held on the main road in front of Munshiganj Press Club.
Students of various educational institutions also participated in the programme organized by district committee of National Children's Task Force (NCTF).
The speakers demanded initiatives to stop the worst of these activities.
District Children Affairs Officer Dewan Haffur Rahman, Editor of Daily Savvatar Alo Mir Nasir Uddin Ujjal, Shaheed-e-Hasan Tuhin, General Secretary of Munshiganj Press Club Bhabatosh Chowdhury Nupur, NCTF President Md. Ruayet Khan Ratul, District Volunteer Md. Rifayet Khan and teacher Mahmuda Begum joined the human chain, among others.
