The on-campus round of international competition Hult Prize ended at Comilla University (CoU) on Thursday with virtually announcing the name of the winners.
This is the second time this competition was organized at CoU. As many as 6 teams made it to the final among 42 teams contesting on business idea on the theme 'Food for Good'. Team 'Futatsu Square' was adjudged as the winner of the round while 'Team Roofket' and 'Eggcellent Quartet' became the first and the second runner-up respectively. RSPL'S HR Manager Kaimul Islam Sohail, Tetra's Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer Mubashir Tahmid, Turtle Venture'S Founder and CEO Saraban Tahura Turin and EDOMO'S Founder Alisa Jannatul were present as the judges of the round. CoU Campus Director of Hult Prize Md. Zahir Raihan said, "It is a matter of pleasure to be able to host such an international event on CoU campus. The participation of our students in this year's event was unimaginable, which inspired us to organize more such events”. “I hope that our students will be able to make a positive difference in the lives of billions of people around the world through new ideas like these”, he added.
