The pass rate in this year's HSC examination in Chittagong Board of Education is 89.39 percent. The number of students getting GPA5 has increased.
This time 13 thousand 720 candidates got GPA5. Last time the pass rate was 78.43 percent.
Chittagong Education Board authorities announced the results on Sunday afternoon. Controller of Examinations Narayan Chandra Nath presented the results in the conference room of the Board of Education.
According to the Board of Education, 1 lakh 1 thousand 102 students from 267 colleges took part in the HSC examination held in 2021. 1 lakh 21 thousand 888 of them have passed. The pass rate of students is 86.89 percent. 6 thousand 50 students got GPA5.
The pass rate of female students is 91.85 percent and 7,670 students got GPA5. Among the three branches, 92.20 per cent passed in science, 88.58 per cent in business education and 88.76 per cent in humanities.
College Inspector Prof. Jahedul Haque and School Inspector Dr. Biplob Ganguly were present on the occasion.
