Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury announced that Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams will be scheduled earlier starting next year said in response to problems caused by heavy rain. This decision aims to help students avoid the difficulties they faced this year due to bad weather.

On the first day of this year's HSC exams, many students struggled to reach their exam centers on time because of heavy rain. As more rain is expected in the coming days, the Education Board has decided to give extra time to students who arrive late at their exam centers.

The minister spoke about the issue at a press briefing held at the International Mother Language Institute at Segunbagicha. He explained that the exam schedule had been disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, but the situation has mostly returned to normal now. To prevent future disruptions, the exams will be moved to an earlier date and scheduled during the driest season possible.

This change is intended to make it easier for students to attend their exams without facing weather-related problems. By scheduling the exams earlier, the Education Ministry hopes to ensure that all students have a fair and smooth experience during their HSC exams.
