The Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced the schedule for distributing admit cards for this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. According to the official notice published on the board’s website on Monday night, the admit cards will be distributed on June 1 and 2.
Educational institutions have been requested to collect the admit cards by appearing in person at the board office on the scheduled dates. The notice states that admit cards for Tangail, Narsingdi, Faridpur, Rajbari, Shariatpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj, and Manikganj districts will be distributed on June 1. Meanwhile, admit cards for Dhaka Metropolitan, Dhaka district, Gazipur, Munshiganj, and Narayanganj will be distributed on June 2.
The board instructed that the admit cards must be collected from the Higher Secondary Examination Branch during office hours. The acting officer of each exam center or a teacher authorized by the principal, with a certified signature, must collect the admit cards for all institutions under their respective centers.
The notice also mentioned that no one other than a teacher would be allowed to collect the admit cards under any circumstances. If the acting officer of a center is the principal of an institution, the application for receiving the admit cards must be endorsed by the president of the governing body, Deputy Commissioner, or Upazila Nirbahi Officer. It will be the responsibility of the center-in-charge to distribute the admit cards promptly among the institutions under their supervision.
Additionally, the board instructed the heads of institutions to check the admit cards carefully. If any mistake or issue is found, they must submit a correction application to the sub-controller of examinations (Higher Secondary) between June 15 and 22. Institutions will be held responsible for any complications during the exams if corrections are not made on time.
