The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations have been published on Wednesday morning.
A total of 73.93 percent students passed under 10 education boards which was 66.64 per cent last year.
Education Minister Dipu Moni and chairmen of all boards handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10am at Gono Bhaban.
The pass rate of the eight general education boards is 71.85 per cent. The passing rate of madrasa board is 88.56 per cent where 82.62 per cent vocational board candidates cleared the exams.
The examinees will get results from respective centres from 2pm. They can also get their results through educationboardresults.gov.bd
A total of 13,36,629 examinees took part in the examinations began on April 1.
