A housewife reportedly killed by her husband on Wednesday small hours at Fazilpur area under Fatulla model police station in the district.
Deceased identified as Nazma Akter, 42, wife of Kawser Alam Tuhin, resident of Fazilpur area as tenant. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy
Sources claimed that a dispute has been running between Nazma and her husband due to Nazma’s husband's disagreement to going abroad with his wife. Over the matter of going abroad locked a quarrel between husband and wife in the morning and at a stage of quarrel husband Kawser stabbed his wife and she died on the spot.
Officer in charge of Fatulla model police station Sheikh Rezaul Haq Dipu said that a murder case was recorded and a drive is running to apprehend the lone accused.
