The 28th Annual General Meeting of the local NGO HOPE was held on Saturday in Nabinagar, Brahmanbaria, presided over by HOPE President Md. Humayun Kabir and moderated by Vice President Abu Kawsar.
The event was graced by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rajib Chowdhury as the chief guest. Special guests included retired Principal Mohammad Yunus, Principal Md. Iqbal Hossain, former mayor Mainuddin Mainu, Assistant Headteacher Kazi Wazed Ullah, senior journalists Ariful Islam Minaj, Saidul Alam Soraf, Delwar Hossain, Shafiqul Islam Badol, and Mazedul Islam, alongside HOPE’s executive and general members and members of the media.
HOPE’s Executive Director A.K.M. Asaduzzaman announced that the organisation has recently been authorised to receive international funding. He outlined their recent activities, including support for underprivileged meritorious students, sanitation improvements, housing projects, financial aid for the ill, and employment initiatives. Guests praised HOPE’s contributions and encouraged the continuation of its welfare initiatives.
