Holiday makers have started coming back to Chattogram city after celebrating the Eid-ul-Adha with their near and dear ones in their village homes.
Bus and train terminals witnessed moderate crowds on Saturday although the pressure still remains low.
The city is getting back to life after the long vacation. Working people are returning to the city from different parts of the country.
From Saturday, all the public-private workers started returning to Chattogram city on Saturday morning. A stream of people was seen at Kadamtali railway station and AK Khan bus terminal.
People are returning to the city without any kind of suffering. Every city-bound bus and train was full of passengers. However, the passengers were on the roof of the bus and train while they were leaving the city on Eid holidays but it was not seen when they returned.
Shahidul Alam, a city bound train passenger said that there was no rush to depart. The train left the station on time. No one is seen on the train's roof.
Chittogram railway station manager Azad Abul Kalam said many passengers had returned Chattogram city on Friday for fear of suffering on the way.
