An order of the High Court Bench comprising of Justice Mojibur Rahman Mia and Justice Mohiuddin Shamim has directed to withdraw the video from the social media of torturing housewife by stripping her at Begumganj of Noakhali on October-5.
According to sources, around 9-00 pm on September-2, local miscreants Badal and his accomplishes entered into the house of the housewife at Khalpara area of ward-9 of Eklashpur upazila and by fastening her husband Nur Islam in another room, they tried to rape the housewife.
By being resisted from the housewife, the miscreants stripped the housewife and beat her mercilessly. They also took a video of torture on the housewife on the mobile phone. 33-day after the incident, the tortured housewife filed a case on Sunday night accusing nine persons on the allegations of attempted torture.
RAB-11 arrested Badal, the prime accused of the case and Delowar, head of Delwar Bahini, at an overnight operation on Monday night. Badal was arrested from Dhaka Highway and Delowar was arrested with arms from Narayanganj.
Earlier on Sunar afternoon and at night, police arrested two accused of the case from Ekhlaspur union. They were identified as Abdur Rahim(20) son of Sheikh Ahmed Dulal and Rahmat Ullah(41) son of Mohor Ali Munshi.
