With the slogan ‘Healthy life in beautiful nature’, the Channel i Nature Fair-2020 was held in Cox’s Bazar on Friday. To mark the fair, a rally was brought out from Central Shaheed Minar in the district town in the morning, organised by Cox's Bazar district unit of Nature and Life Foundation. People from all walks of life participated in the rally. Later, a brief discussion was held at the Cox's Bazar Press Club premises with Cox’s Bazar district correspondent of Channel i Sarwar Azam Manik in the chair.
Convener of Cox's Bazar district unit of Nature and Life Foundation Masud Ur Rahman moderated the event, while it was addressed, among others, by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Cox’s Bazaar Ashraful Afsar, Additional Superintendent of Police Adibul Islam, Divisional Forest Officer Humayun Kabir and president of Cox’s Bazar Press Club Mahbubur Rahman.
The speakers said that all have to work together to protect the environment. Everyone has to work from their position to build a beautiful environment friendly Bangladesh in the future. To ensure well growth of our next generation a healthy environment is essential. Therefore, there is no alternative to conserving the environment in order to build a beautiful world for the next generation.
Meanwhile, Nature and Life Foundation brought a colourful rally also in Chuadanga district town marking the Channel i Nature Fair-2020. The rally paraded main roads of the town. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chuadanga Nazrul Islam Sarker led the rally.
