The High Court postponed a notice of Jagannath University (JnU) where they restrict hall seat allotment for married and pregnant female students on Tuesday.
The High Court bench of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Kazi Zinat Hoque passed this order after hearing the writ petition which was done against the authority's rule.
Previously, the university administration made a rule that no married and pregnant female students won't get hall seat allotment through a notice. This decision aroused anger in not only the married and pregnant female students but also the other students.
Though some organizations sent letters to the administration to withdraw the notice, they didn’t pay any heed.
