GUB launches certificate courses

To meet the mounting demand of skilled workforce in the booming media industry the department of Journalism and Media Communication (JMC) of Green University (GUB) has launched three certificate courses on Television Reporting, News and Programme Presentation and Radio Jockey (RJ).

In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with JMC and Spotlight Academy, a media related training institute on Tuesday at GUB’s city campus.

Professor Dr Md Golam Samdani Fakir, vice chancellor (VC), Professor Dr Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, pro VC, Md Shahid Ullah, treasurer, along with deans of different faculties and all departmental chairpersons of the university were present at the MoU ceremony. Dr Md Aliur Rahman, chairperson, Department of JMC and Lopa Hossain, chairperson of Spotlight Academy signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.  Initially the following three certificate courses will be conducted under this MoU.

First class of the 1st batch on News and Programme Presentation course will be held tomorrow.
