The district administration distributed grants among 12 Puja Mandaps and 20 funeral workers in the district on Wednesday, reports BSS.
Deputy Commissioner Syeda Farhana distributed the grants among them at a function held at her conference room.
Each of the mandaps got 500 kg rice and each of the workers got Taka five thousand.
Additional deputy commissioner (general) Kamal Goash and Sadar UNO Taslima Akhter were present at the function, among others.
