On Thursday afternoon, the leaders of Chattogram District Bar Association met at the temporary office of Chattogram Laldighi Zila Parishad to pay their respects and greetings to Chattogram Zila Parishad Chairman ATM Peasrul Islam.
He said that the government is trying to ensure justice for people of all classes. Referring to the various steps taken by the current government for the overall development of the judiciary, he said that we are working towards the goal of getting justice for all, including abused women, children and acid attack victims. After coming to power in 1996, the government has taken initiatives to strengthen the judiciary and ensure the effectiveness of the constitution. Lawyers will work to build Smart Bangladesh of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Thanking all the members of the Bar Association, he requested everyone to work together in unity and thanked everyone for their cooperation during the election of Zila Parishad Chairman.
The meeting was presided over by Advocate Abu Mohammad Hashem, President of Chattogram District Bar Association. General Secretary Advocate AM Ziauddin, Bilkish Ara Mitu, Md Abdullah Al-Mamun, Mostafa Karim, Khorshed Alam, Ainul Kamal, Tauhidul Islam, Roknuzzaman Munna, Laila Nur, Selina Akhtar, Tauhidul Bari Chowdhury, Zahidul Islam Chowdhury, Salahuddin Mansur Chowdhury Rimu, Ershadur Rahman, Aziz Uddin Haider were present in the meeting.
