The Ministry of Planning has approved the revised development project for Jagannath University’s (JnU) second campus.

Professor Dr. Anwarus Salam, Director of Public Relations, Information, and Publication at JnU, confirmed the news through an official notice on Wednesday. He stated that the ministry issued a government order (GO) for the revised project on the same day.

The university thanked all teachers, students, officers, and staff for their support in achieving this milestone. It also expressed gratitude to the officials and advisors from the Education Ministry, Planning Ministry, and Finance Ministry who helped complete the approval process.

JnU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Rezaul Karim said, “We have received the final approval for the RDPP (Revised Development Project Proposal) of our long-awaited second campus. This is a major achievement for Jagannath University.”

He added, “Our students worked hard, and our teachers supported us all the way. That teamwork made this success possible. We gave our best and reached our goal. This project will be a milestone for future students.”

The second campus will help the university expand and meet the growing demand for higher education. It will also offer better academic and infrastructural facilities for students and teachers.

The university now plans to move forward with the next phase of the project. Officials hope the second campus will open new opportunities and take JnU a step closer to becoming a modern and dynamic educational institution.

With this approval, Jagannath University takes another important step in its journey of growth and excellence. The administration looks forward to turning this vision into reality soon.
