‘Govet working relentlessly to develop the country’

“The government is working for the betterment of all, not just small ethnic groups. Everyone will have equal rights in this country irrespective of religion, caste, creed or group,” Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder said that Sheikh Hasina's government has been ensuring that.

He was speaking as the chief guest at a function to distribute improved breeds of cattle and cattle feed under the Livestock Development Project aimed at improving the socio-economic and living standards of the upazila's ethnic minorities at Niamatpur Pilot Government High School ground in Naogaon district.

The food minister said the government has undertaken various projects thinking of small ethnic groups. This is one of them. Employment opportunities are being created under this project. He appealed to the beneficiaries of small ethnic groups to utilize these incentives of the government.

Minister said that members of small ethnic groups should contribute to the development of the society by preventing drugs and child marriage. Children of small ethnic groups should be well educated and contribute to the development of the country. 

Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has turned the country into a role model of development and a middle-income country by pulling it out of a bottomless basket country. The present government is giving incentives to the farmers. There is no shortage of fertilizer.
