Rally of heroic freedom fighters with 50 national flags on the occassion of golden jubile of the Independence of Bangladesh held in Madaripur.
On the occasion of the golden jubilee of the Independence, a heroic freedom fighters' golden jubilee procession was held in Madaripur with 50 national flags. The procession was organized by the district administration. From Saturday morning till afternoon, the heroic freedom fighters marched around different places of the upazila with the help of trucks and chanting slogans. At this time, the heroic freedom fighters highlighted the success and achievement of 50 years of great independence among the locals. The rally was attended by Kalkini Upazila Nirbahi Officer Dipankar Thanchangya, former Commander of Muktijoddha Command Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Jalil Akon, former Deputy Commander Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Malek Hawlader, former commander of Municipal Command Eskandar Ali hawlader and others.
