Golam Rasul-Palash Foundation stands by poor families

Haji Golam Rasul-Palash Foundation, a social organisation of Lohagora upazila in Narail, stands by the unemployed poor of Dighalia union in the outbreak of coronavirus.  The organisation distributed rice, pulse, oil, salt, onion, sugar,  potato among the poor for free under the  quarantine rules on Thursday.  

A total of 120 poor families of Dighalia union were provided  5 kgs rice, a kg of pulse, sugar, potato, onion, salt, oil and one piece soap in Dighalia union on behalf of the Haji Golam Rasul-Palash Foundation.

Narail Deputy Commissioner Anjuman Ara distributed these essential goods in front of Haji Filling station at Dighalia as a chief guest while Lohagora upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Mukul Kumar Maitra, Foundation chairman Zilla Parishad member freedom fighter Saifur Rahman Hilu, Dighalia UP chairman Nina Yasmin, Awami League leader Sardar Abdul Hai, Md Kamal Hossain Mollah were present in the occasion. 

Narail's deputy commissioner said that Bangladesh are now having a difficult time because of the corona virus. Be careful not to panic. Obey government law,keep yourself clean, keep your family clean.  We can collectively prevent the spread of corona virus. 

Director of Haji Golam Rasul-Palash Foundation Mukto Rahman said the market area, including vehicles operating on the streets, has been sprayed through the authority of  Haji Filling station for the past  20 days.  Awareness campaign is being launched to prevent the corona virus through posters, leaflets,  he said.
