Give information to police without fear: Satkania ASP

Satkania Circle ASP Shibli Noman said, "You should not be afraid.  Fearlessly gave information to the police.  We promise to bring the criminals and the accomplices of criminals under the law gradually.

 Thana police held an exchange meeting with the local people regarding the law and order situation in East Gatiadenga of Nalua Union in Satkania of Chattogram.

 This exchange meeting was organized with the people of ward No. 4, 5, 6 of the Union on recently in Hangramukh Bazar area.  Satkania Circle ASP Shibli Noman was the chief guest.

 In the exchange meeting, the local people highlighted their various complaints and the extreme deterioration of the law and order situation in the area in recent times.

 Senior officials of the police administration, political leaders, public representatives and people from various professions were present in it. Yasir Arafat, officer-in-charge of Satkania police station presided over the meeting

 He said some outsiders and identified terrorists in the area are creating instability.  A camp cadre named Jamshed is responsible for this.  He urged the police to arrest the terrorists. Former member of Chittagong South District Awami League Mostak Ahmed Angur, Union Awami League President Ahmed Mia, Nalua Union Chairman Md. Liakat Ali, Nalua Union Awami League General Secretary Amal Dash Manik, Satkania Police Station OC (Investigation) Shafiqul Islam, Dhemsha Investigation spoke at the exchange meeting.  The in-charge of the center is Syed Omar.

 In the meeting, the locals portrayed the deteriorating law and order situation in Ward No. 5 of Nalua Union.

 According to them, the discipline of this ward has deteriorated recently. An identified group, some youths and teenagers of the area are involved in various criminal activities.  They are also involved in drug use and dealing.  They are creating panic in the area by throwing bullets and beating.  Attacks were carried out only when they were opposed.

 The police officials expressed their commitment to stand by the local people and said that the police are the servants of the people.  The job of the police is to ensure the safety of the people by keeping the law and order situation normal.

  The meeting chaired by SI Jahangir Alam of the investigation center was attended by former Thana Chhatra League leader Abdul Mannan, union Awami League leader AJ M Salim, Thana Jubo League leader ATM Saiful Alam, Awami League leader MA Nabi, Jubo League president Zahir Uddin Mintu, Alamgir Abu Sufian, Shahnewar Abu Khalil, Shahjahan, Tuntu, Abdul Aziz, Ibrahim, Hasan, Hossain, Shahidul Islam, Nazrul Islam Bacha, Mozammel, Shirin Akhtar, Farida Yasmin, Zafar Ahmad Bhutto, Mansoor Ahmed, Musa, Akhtaruzzaman Russell, Abdur Rahman, Mamun.
