With the slogan of people, for the people, and not to forget the past, a get-together was held on the premises of Panna Cinema Hall in Chuadanga town on Sunday under the auspices of Chuadanga Municipality. A discussion meeting and cultural function was held during this time. Obaidur Rahman Chowdhury Jipu, Mayor of Chuadanga Municipality presided over the discussion.
At that time, Ashadul Hoque Biswas, sadar upazila parishad chairman, Adv. Ashraf Ali, former chairman of Chuadanga Pourasabha, Dr. Mehidi Hasan Mehedi, health affairs secretary of District AL, Dilip Kumar Agarwala, managing director of Diamond World, Adv. Abdul Malek, organising secretary of District AL, Adv. Shafiqul Islam, Golam Faruque Joarder, chairman of Mominpur Union Parishad, Asaduzzaman Kabir, general secretary of District Krishakleague and Mohammad Janif, president of District Chhatraleague were also present.
Mayor of Chuadanga Municipality urged to the common people of Chuadanga Municipal area to express their feeling and problems at the meeting. The presence inhabitants of pourasabha area requested to the Mayor to construct roads and drains and arranged road light. Later a day-night cultural function was held at the area.
