A gang rape victim and her landlord both have been living under threat as the criminal gang associate of prime accused attacked the house of victim’s rented house on November 19.
The victim’s landlord Nazrul Islam has filed a written complaint with the Fatulla Model Police Station police against six men named and unnamed others in this regard. Being afraid the house master kept the victim in another house at a secret location.
Besides, a section of local influential people have been pressurizing to withdraw the gang rape case of Fatulla police station paying some money to the victim, Nazrul added.
Female worker of a readymade garments factory was returning home with a male colleague on November 13. When they reached the Baroibhog area a few young men took them to a Rickshaw garage and later they forcibly detached the girl’s colleague while, the rickshaw garage owner Danial and manager Babu repeatedly violated the girl.
The victim aged around 19 had filed a case (no-38) on November 14 night accusing Danial, 27, son of Deloar Hossain and Babu, 22, son of Ayub Ali under relevant section of women and children repression prevention act.
Inspector Toriqul Islam has been investigating the case who had already been arrested the chief accused Danial.
As the victim alone lives as a tenant of a house at Adarsha Nogor and hailed from a poor family of another district while, the accused are local men so a group of local people are trying to pay some amount of money to victim to get relief from the case, Nazrul told the media.
