The Rajshahi University Paba Upazila Chhatra Kallan Shomiti accorded a reception to freshers of first year students and farewell to the Masters’ students at the University’s Teachers Students Cultural centre on Thursday.
Ayen Uddin, MP of Rajshahi-3 (Paba-Mohan) constituency, addressed the function as the chief guest with Hasan Ali, president of the Chhatra Kallan Shomiti in the chair. RU Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Ananda Kumar Saha was present as the key discussant.
Around 48 newcomers and 26 outgoing students were given flowers, medals and crests on the occasion.
The programme was concluded through a cultural function with the participants of the students.
