The orientation programme for the first year honours students of 2019-20 academic session of Islamic University will be held on the campus in Kushtia today.
The programme would be held at IU Birshreshtha Hamidur Rahman Auditorium in the morning, a IU press release on Sunday.
IU vice-chancellor Prof M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari will be present as the chief guest while pro-vice-chancellor Prof M Shahinoor Rahman and Treasurer Prof M Selim Toha will attend the programme as the special guests.
This year, a total of 2,305 students have enrolled at the university under its eight faculties.
