Fresh water supply program has been started in Chattogram's Banshkhali municipality.
Banshkhali Paurashava Mayor SM Tofail bin Hossain inaugurated the water supply program at the project office west of Mia Bazar on Thursday.
While inaugurating the water supply program, Paurashava Mayor SM Tofail Bin Hossain said, "I have been tirelessly carrying out developmental activities in Banshkhali Paurashava since I assumed responsibility as the Mayor.
As a part of this, the water supply program has been inaugurated for the convenience of the citizens to eliminate the shortage of reliable drinking water. He also said that this development work will continue. Civil Engineer Md. Lutfar Rahman, Engineer Kazi Md. Arafat, Former General Secretary of Banshkhali Press Club Journalist Abdul Matlab Kalu, Deputy Assistant Engineer of Directorate of Public Health Engineering Nizam Uddin Russell, Municipal Officer Nurul Islam Babul, Councillor Anshur Ali, Jamshed Alam, Arif Mainuddin, Pranab Kumar Das, Abdul Ghafoor, Md Ishaq, Badiul Alam, Akhter Hossain, Female Councillor Chadeka Nur Khanam Beauty, Rozia Soltana, Rozina Akhtar and Paurashava officials and employees were present.
