ASA, a top NGO of the country organized a Free Medical Camp in front of its office in Jhalokathi on Wednesday in observance of the Victory day. Some 500 people received medicare and medicine.
Mohammad Mamun Shible, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) inaugurated the medical camp. Among others, H M Johirul Islam, Civil Surgeon, Israt Jahan Sonali, Vice-Chairman, Upazila Parishad, Hafiz Al Mahmud, Poura Councilor, Mohammad Fazlul Huq, Executive Vice – President, Md Jasim Uddin, Divisional Manager, Sheikh Firoz Ahmed, Senior District Manager of ASA and other staff of the Organisation were present in the function.
The daylong camp was conducted by specialist doctors, physiotherapist and free medicines were also distributed.
People can get general health advice everyday only paying Tk 20 with free medicine.
