Mirsharai Lion Professor Dr S Courtesy of A Farooq and under the overall management of Lions Cub of Chittagong Mirsharai and Chittagong Lions Charitable Eye Hospital, more than 2 thousand patients received free medical care.
On Tuesday from 7 am to 2 pm, this free medical service campaign was organized in Mirsharai Upazila. It was held at Farooq's house. Free treatment of eye patients, selection of operable eye patients and provision of spectacles, diabetes and blood tests are provided.
The campaign was attended by Lion Professor, the founder of the medical service campaign S. A Farooq, Zone Chairperson of Lions Cub Ilyas Sirazi, President of Lions Cub of Chittagong Mirsharai Moin Uddin, Treasurer Shaukat Hussain, Secretary of Lions Cub of Chittagong Mirsharai Abdul Naeem Rahat, Minhaj, Ala Uddin, Tapu, Jahin, Saidul, Eman etc.
The founder of the campaign for free medical services, Professor Dr SA Farooq said, 'The campaign started from 7 am and lasted till 2 pm. During this time, more than one and a half hundred eye patients were identified for operation, about 1 thousand patients were given medical care, spectacles were distributed among 2 hundred patients, diabetes and blood tests were given to 6 hundred people and medicines worth half a hundred rupees were distributed. Such initiatives will be taken in the future for public interest.
