Chattogram Awami League leader Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor distributed food among the orphans, the poor and passers-by at the old railway station, Kazir Dewri, DC Hill area of Chattogram on Wednesday afternoon on the occasion of the historic Jail Killing Day.
He said that after the killing of Bangabandhu, another scandalous chapter has been written in the country by killing four national leaders. After the assassination of Bangabandhu, the anti-independence clique advanced by plotting so that Bangladesh could not turn around and move forward, and so that independence failed, Bangladesh became a failed state and Awami League was deprived of its leadership.
As a part of this and so that the power of the supporters of independence can never stand up in this country, the conspiracy of torture, killing and torture started on the political leaders and activists.
From that conspiracy, the anti-independence gang organized this murder inside the jail. Chattogram Metropolitan Volunteer League leader Prashant Chowdhury Jesus, Shibu Prasad Chowdhury, AM Qutub Uddin Chowdhury, Nasir Uddin Fahim, Morshed Alam, Delwar Hossain, Maymun Uddin Mamun, Rupam Sarkar were present.
