Four labourers killed after trawler sinks in Buriganga

Four labourers  died after a trawler sank in the Burigranga River  in midnight due to water intrusion  through  a leak  in its bottom level on early Friday. Among the six laboures two including trawler masters survived in trawler sink incident, police said.

The deceased were identified as Lutfor Rahman, 39, son of Toyeb Ali, hailed from Kanderpur village under Nolchhiti Police Station in Jhalokathi district, Mostofa, 35, son of Abdur Rob Talukdar, hailed from Chasherhati village under Kawkhali Police Staiotion in Pirojpur district, Babu, 18, son of Rashed Hawladar, hailed from Chhotoarji village and Mohibullah, 60, of Pirojpur district.

Chief of fire Brigade and Civil Defense of Panchabati Sation in Narayanganj district quoting the survived master of trawler that all four were killed due to sink of the trawler. Keraniganj Police Station took the dead bodies, as the accident spot was their jurisdiction.
