Four illegal clinics sealed off in Jamalpur

Jamalpur Executive Magistrate Tasneem Jahan has sealed off four clinics in the city as they run health care service without having any authorized license.  

The operation was conducted on Monday (September 25) afternoon.

Jamalpur Sadar Upazila Family Planning Officer Dr. Uttam Kumar Sarkar said that Pure Lab and Hospital and Mazharul Islam General Hospital in Sheikher Vita area of the city, Doctors Hospital in Daripara Bypass area and Safiq Hospital and Diagnostic Center in Bagerhata Battala area have been sealed off for allegedly running clinics without license.  

Meanwhile, the mobile court fined five thousand taka to Mazharul Islam General Hospital.  At that time, Deputy Civil Surgeon Aktaruzzaman, Assistant Director of Consumer Rights Arif Ahmed and others were present.
