Four ‘Disinfection Chambers’ were set up at different points of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) under the initiative of social platform National Interest of Bangladesh (NIB) on Thursday

The chambers were inaugurated by the Director of the Hospital, Brigadier General AKM Nasiruddin. The hospital’s assistant director Dr Alauddin Al Azad, Assistant Director Dr Ashrafun Nahar, AIB member Aminul Islam Shanto and NIB coordinator Nesar Amin were present at the time.

During the inauguration Brigadier General AKM Nasiruddin, said that coronavirus patients were being treated at the Hospital and samples were being collected for corona infection. So the doctors here are always at risk.

The disinfection chamber set up at the initiative of NIB will help reduce this risk. According to AIB, the doctors and patients who come to these automatic disinfection chambers will be able to disinfect themselves in just five seconds by standing inside the chambers.
