Four Bangladeshis held while trespassing into India

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) pesonnel in bordering Moheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah have detained four Bangladeshi natioinals including a  couple on Monday aternoon. The detained were allegely attempting to tresspass into India ilegally.

The detained were Biswanath Biswas, 50, and his wife Atashi Biswas, 42, of village Faridpur in Alamadanga upazila in Chuadanga. They were detained by the BGB personnel at Samanta borderr outpost (BOP) from the road at Jibannagarpara of Moheshpur.

Detained two othewrs were Eti, 20, and Jharna Akter, 25, of Solemannagar village of  Bandar thana of Narayanganj from Shishutala area on Kaliganj-Jibannagar road in the same afternoon.

BGB 58 battalion assistant director Nazrul Islam Khan quoting the battalion directcor Qamrul Ahsan said the detained were attempting to tresspass in to neighbiring country without any documents. They were handed over to local police staion after filing cases under the passport act of 1973.
