The 49th founding anniversary of Awami Jubo League has been celebrated in Chitalmari upazila of Bagerhat through various programmes.
On the occasion of the day, the national and party flags were hoisted at the party office at 8 am on Thursday at the initiative of Chitalmari Upazila Awami Jubo League.
In the morning a colorful rally came out of the party office and ended at the same place after going around the main roads of Sadar Bazar. At this time a cake was cut amid a joyous atmosphere.

After cutting the cake, Jubo League Convener Sheikh Nazrul Islam presided over the function and joint convener Sheikh Mahatabuzzaman conducted it.
Upazila Awami League president Md Babul Hossain Khan and General Secretary Piyush Kanti Roy also spoke in the program.
