Food, winter clothes distributed among low-income people

Food aid and winter clothes have been distributed among the low income people of different villages at Amada Secondary School premises of Lohagora Upazila under Narail district. The distribution programme was held on Thursday (February 15) afternoon under the initiative of Mangrove Express Foundation. 

Lohagora UNO Animesh Biswas was chief guest on the occasion. Mangrove Express Foundation chairman Palash Mollah presided over the function while Advisor to the Foundation KM Fazlul Haque, SK Mofizur Rahman, Principal of Amada Adarsha College Al Faisal Khan, Narail sadar upazila vice-Chairman Ismat Ara, Lohagora upazila vice-chairman Farhana Yasmin Iti, Dhaka City Corporation former councilor Sheikh Iliyas Hossain, Foundation Vice-President Badrul Islam Sheikh, Alamgir Hossain, Satya Narayan Food Company Officer Salim Reza were present on the occasion. 

Mangrove Express Foundation chairman Palash Mollah said, low-income people will get food aid at a low price through this project in the market of rising commodity prices. Each beneficiary has been given two kg of flour and soybean oil, one kg of sugar, mustard oil, detergent powder and perfumed soap. Besides, winter clothes were distributed by Fazlul Haque Foundation,he added.
