Food provided to 500 unemployed families in Nabinagar

District Awami League's Education Secretary Barrister Zakir Ahmed provided food assistance to more than 500 families who were left unemployed due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Nabinagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria.

According to government directives, the food items were delivered to the unemployed and helpless families of different villages of the upazila on Thursday (April 16) through their own people to ensure social distancing. Food items included 5 kg rice, 2 kg flour, 1 kg onions and 1 hand wash soap for each family.

Barrister Zakir Ahmed urged all to remain safe in their homes at lockdown as per the government directives and hoped to continue his cooperation among the unemployed families in the area.

Prof Mahbubul Alam, Head Teacher Md Shahjahan Kabir, Emon Master, Borhan Master, Ali Akbar Master, Murshid Alam, Firuz Member, Abu Nasser Member, Khandaker Abul Hasan, Shahriar Anis, Bashir Sarkar, Sohail Tanvir, Kawsar Alam, A Salam, JS Jeebon, Rezaul Karim, Jewel Rana, Ajmeri Nirab and Redwan Ansari Oli among others were pre sent during the distribution of  food items.
