Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has condoled the death of New York Bangladesh Society President Kamal Ahmed. He was the former President of Jalalabad Association, the foreign ministry said in a statement on Sunday. In a message, the foreign minister expressed his deep shock and condolences over his death.
He said Kamal Ahmed was an ‘honest and expatriates friendly’ person. “His untimely departure brings an irreparable loss to all Bangladeshi expatriates,” he said, praying for the departed soul. The foreign ministry, however, did not say how he died.
