Five-day Bangabandhu Adventure Festival begins in Rangamati

“We need golden people for creating Golden Bengal. We have to be golden people. Education is the big and main tools for making golden people for all of us. So, for achieving our goal of Golden Bengal, the young generation is the main force.”

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said this at an inauguration programme of five-day long “Bangabandhu Adventure Festival 2021” as the chief guest at Ching Hla Mong Chowdhury Murry Stadium in Rangamati on Monday. 

Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board (CHTDB) is organising the event in three hill districts. 

Local MP Dipankar Talukder, Rangamati region commander Md. Iftequr Rahman, deputy commissioner AKM Mamunur Rashid and superintendent of Rangamati police Mir Modasser Hossain were present as special guests in the opening programme. 

Chairman of CHTDB and president of Bangladesh Adventure Foundation Naba Bikram Kishore Tripura was presided over the function. 

Momen further said that human and water resources are the big assets for our country. No one kept us suppressed if we rightly could utilise our two resources. I believed that we could fulfill the dream of Bangabandhu for achieving “Sonar Bangla” by utilising these two resources by 2041. 

A total of 100 people participating in the festival. Out of 100, 50 from three hill districts---Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban and 50 from plain areas. The event will be end on next Friday in Rangamati.
