Under the 21-22 fiscal year revenue budget organized by the Department of Fisheries in Mirsarai, the release of fish larvae in various reservoirs of the upazila has been completed. This activity was held on Monday(September 19) at the Mahamaya irrigation project of the upazila. Upazila Chairman Jasim Uddin, Upazila Executive Officer Minhajur Rahman, Chittagong Divisional Fisheries Officer Farhana Lovely, Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Nasim Al Mahmud, Mirsrai Sadar Union Chairman Samchul Alam Didar and others were present.
After the ceremony, about 330 kg of different fish fry were released in the upazila’s Mahamaya irrigation project, Kishmat Zafarabad shelter project, Ansar VDP reservoir and highway police reservoir.
