Dengue outbreak has been added to the corona virus epidemic causing more trouble for common people. An old man from Korbaniganj in Chattogram died as the first dengue patient this year.
Uttam Kumar Roy, 58, who died of dengue was also infected with the corona virus. He is said to be a resident of Korbaniganj area under Kotwali police station in the port city.
Uttam Kumar died at Chittagong General Hospital on Wednesday morning. Resident Doctor of Chittagong General Hospital Dr. Jamal Mostafa confirmed the matter.
He said a 58 year old man from Korbaniganj died of dengue and corona virus (Covid-19) while undergoing treatment at the hospital on Wednesday morning.
Uttam Kumar Roy had been suffering from dengue since he was admitted to the hospital on May 15. His corona report also came positive later.
