First corona patient of Satkhira survives

Lab technician of Sharsha Health Center in Jashore Mahmudur Rahman Sumon, 32, who was the first corona infected patient found in Satkhira has been declared Corona-free. 

Satkhira Superintendent of Police Md. Mostafizur Rahman greeted him by lifting the lockdown of his house and congratulated him with a gift on Friday morning.

On April 26, Mahmudur Rahman Sumon was found coronavirus positive. The corona laboratory of Jessore University of Science and Technology confirmed the presence of corona virus in Sumon's body. 

Sumon's house was then locked down and kept under close observation. In the meantime, two consecutive corona negative reports of him came out. 

As a result, the health department informed him that he is in perfect health. Mahmudur Rahman Sumon's house is in Rajnagar village of Labsa union under Satkhira Sadar upazila.
