Jowel Hossain, a fire fighter was killed in a road accident on Akhelpur- Dupchanchai Road in Nilahali area of Dupchanchai Upazila on Wednesday morning.
He was riding a motorcycle. Juwel was the son of Ismail Hossain and hailed from Akkhelpur Upazila in Joypurhat. He has been working in Kahalu Fire Service Office in Bogura. The accident occurred when he lost control of his motorcycle. He skidded off the bike and another speedy motorcycle pushed him from behind.
Wounded Jewel was rushed to a local hospital and the doctor on duty pronounced him dead.
