A three-day training workshop on film and acting with the participation of children was inaugurated at CSS Ava Center in Khulna on Saturday. The Bangladesh Film and Television Institute (BCTI) organised the workshop.
The chief guest of the workshop was film director and actor Gazi Rakayet. Chief Executive of BCTI Dr Mohiuddin Ahmed inaugurated the workshop in the morning while BCTI's Assistant Director Masum-ul-Alam addressed the wolcome speech. The speakers at the time said that film is one of the means of expressing human emotions, which is very important in our psychological development. Nice and creative films are one of the ways of cultural development in the country.
Speakers also hoped that the workshop would play a role in creating filmmaking ideas among children and creating skilled artistes and producers in the future. Twenty children from different educational institutions of Khulna are participating in this three-day long workshop.
