A team of experts conducted a feasibility study to set up a PCR lab to ascertain the presence of corona in suspected corona patients in Thakurgaon.
Professor of the Department of Micro Biology at Jahangirnagar University and Treasurer of Pabna University of Science and Technology Dr. Anwar Khasru Parvez visited Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital on Thursday to set up a PCR lab there.
Dr. Anwar Khasru Parvez, Thakurgaon Civil Surgeon Dr. Mahfuzar Rahman Sarkar, District BMA President Dr. Abu Md. Khairul Kabir, Sadar Hospital Supervisor Dr. Nadirul Aziz Chapal and others were present at the time.
During the visit various issues were discussed with doctors and health administration experts. The issue of setting up the lab will be finalized after a full report from the health administration, the health ministry and the health department.
