FDSR donates PPE, N95 masks to FMC PCR lab

Foundation for Doctor’s Safety Rights and Responsibilities (FDSR) has provided certified N-95 masks, reusable PPE suits and Face Shields for the protection of doctors and technologists working in the PCR lab of Faridpur medical college in Faridur on Wednesday.

These PPEs were handed over to Dr. Khabirul Islam, principal of FMC by the Secretary General and Joint Secretary General of FDSR.

Assistant Director Mostafizur Rahman Bulu, Pediatric Surgeon Dr. Kamruzzaman, Assistant Professor Abu Faisal and Md. Parvez Tuhin of Faridpur Medical College Hospital were present at that time.

Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun told reporters at that time, they were providing these protective materials across the country for the safety of doctors and also to protect and ensure the proper treatment of patients. They are distributing Certified PPE to different parts of the country according to the need of physicians and health workers in this corona crisis as contribution.

FBMSA, FDSR members and some other voluntary organizations are   assisting them in this endeavour with financial support, he added.
