The government of Bangladesh and India is producing a biomic based on the biography of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Bollywood director Shyam Benegal will be making this film.
The 83-year-old Bollywood director has already taken to the field. Now, the selection of artistes for different roles is going on. He arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday (February 5th) to decide on actions regarding shooting and other formal matters.
It is reported that Fazlur Rahman Babu, a popular actor of both small and big screen, will play the role of Khandaker Mostak in this biopic of Bangabandhu. He is currently preparing to perform in the movie.
About this, Fazlur Rahman Babu said, “The main issue is that a large number of films are being made with Bangabandhu. The film will be released on the hundredth anniversary of Bangabandhu. This is a huge historical matter. It is a privilege for me to be able to be an actor in a film. Fazlur Rahman Babu added, “It is a great achievement to be with history. I cannot elaborate on the character now. Khandaker Mostak, Abbas Uddin, Abul Hashem can be any of the three characters. I can't really say before the official announcement. A few days ago I came up with a dress size. '
