Chief guest Dr Omor Ali said, “Along with sugarcane we can cultivate corn, mustard, cauliflower, cabbage, onion, garlic, ginger, tomato etc. This will increase the amount of profit in farming. It is not possible to increase the price of sugarcane every year. Plant sugarcane by planning. Cultivate vegetable-spice crops with it. It can definitely be more profitable.”

He also said that everyone should cultivate different companion crops with sugarcane as per the plan instead of cultivating the same crop.
