A training titled ‘Balanced feed preparation for improved breeds of dairy cows” for farmers was held in Chattogram on Saturday.
Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) organised the day-long training program at the university’s auditorium with CVASU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Gautam Buddha Das in the chair.
CVASU Director (research and extension) Prof Dr Mohammad Alamgir Hossain, Director (Outdoor Activities) Prof Dr AKM Saifuddin, Proctor Professor Gautam Kumar Debnath, Chattogram District Livestock Officer Dr Mohammad Reazul Haque, General Secretary of Chittagong Dairy Farm Association Nayem Uddin and Managing Director of Nahar Agro Group Md Rakibur Rahman were also spoke on the occasion.
CVASU Dairy and Poultry Science Department Professor Gautam Kumar Debnath, Animal Science and Nutrition Department Professor Dr Md Imran Hossain were the resource persons in the day-long training program. A total of 35 farmers participated in the training program from Chittagong region.
