A farmer was killed by some persons at village Borobaldia in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga district over a disputed land on January 1 night.
The deceased was identified as Shafqul Islam, 40, of village Borobaldia in the upazila.
According to police and villagers, some persons the village attacked with light bamboos on him at his home. So he became serious injured. Locals rescued and sent him to Chuadanga sadar hospital but on duty doctor declared him dead.
Mahbubur Rahman, OC of Darshana Thana said police investigation is going on and raided different areas for arrest the culprits.
