A farewell programme of Islamic University (IU) Sheikh Hasina Hall was held for the students of 2013-2014 session on Monday.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Dr Md Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari (Rashid Askari) was present as the keynote speaker.
Provost of Sheikh Hasina Hall Professor Dr Shelina Nasrin, chaired the session where Registrar (acting) SM Abdul Latif and Student Adviser and Proctor (acting) Professor Paresh Chandra Burman also spoke at the event.
Marketing Department President Professor Md Zakaria Rahman, President of the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemistry Md Atiqur Rahman, TSCC Director Professor Md Mizanur Rahman, Former Professor of Economics Mohammad Mamun, Former Proctor Professor Md Mahbubur Rahman, Residential Teachers of the hall and Chief Engineer (acting) Md Aliuzzaman (Tutul) were also present on the occasion.
Later, the Vice Chancellor awarded Crest to three outgoing students of the hall.
